DG Joinery and Building have completed a Velux window installation in Barnby. Before we started the roof was fully tiled with no windows as all. The new windows allow a lot more light in through the roof and into the room below. The Velux windows offer better insulation than the existing roofing due to the age of the building. It also means less lighting is needed to brighten the room to help provide another cost benefit.

Once the building was surveyed and measurements are taken, we didn’t have to do any further work on the property until the Velux windows we manufactured. This allowed the family living there to go about their time without interruption. It only took 1 day to install the windows and we have left the area by the time the kids returned from school.
