Project Overview
Originally consisting of storerooms and garages, this space has completely transformed into a modern, inviting destination.
Here’s the journey of how we brought new life into Hardy’s Farm Shop, phase by phase…
Phase 1 – Creating a Modern Kitchen Space
The existing buildings were storerooms and garages. These were converted into a new kitchen area and cold store, all fully fitted with hygiene wall cladding and non-slip commercial flooring. HCS Newark then completed the kitchen fit-out works.
Phase 2 – Upgrading Toilet Facilities
The second phase involved the refurbishment and extension of the current toilet facilities. The male and female toilets were extended, and a new disabled toilet area was fitted. New cubicles, urinals and vanity sinks were installed to create a modern clean area.
Phase 3 – Bespoke Café & Servering Area
The third phase of works consisted of the new servery and counter area for the café all of which were bespoke works to the client’s needs, a large counter area with granite worktops and new access into the kitchen area.
Phase 4 – Expanded Farm Shop & New Office Space
The next phase was to create a new office area and extend the farm shop floor by removing existing walls and erecting a new steel frame. All areas are then finished throughout to provide a great new open space.
Phase 5 – External Transformation
We have completed the external façade works in readiness for the new roofing and cladding works which will transform the outside of the buildings completely.
